Be a change Agent with the Bhutan Coronation Marathon!
Family – Fun – Run invites family to run and at the same time enjoy ! Each team must have three (3) family members. Runners have option to run for a specific cause, charity, or fundraising initiative.
So lace up for an unforgettable race in the Bhutan Coronation Marathon (BCM)! The 10Km marathon kicks off when the starter’s gun fires at 9:15 AM on Saturday, June 7th, 2025.
The BCM route is officially qualified for world records and qualifying performances, as it has been precisely measured by accredited AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) and World Athletics (formerly IAAF) Grade A or B measurers. This certification ensures that your participation is globally recognized.
Take on Bhutan’s most scenic route, perfect for setting personal bests and making lasting memories.

Advance Pickup:
Race numbers may be collected in advance at the Bhutan Youth Run Center located in Thimphu. Check our website for the specific dates and times available.
Race Day Pickup:
On the day of the event, race numbers can also be picked up at the main entrance of the stadium. We encourage parents and guardians to pick up numbers early to avoid lines.
Important:
Souvenirs and race numbers are distributed only on race day.
There is no bag check available. Bhutan Youth Run organizers are not responsible for any bags left unattended during the event.
Every finisher will receive a unique Bhutanese cultural souvenir.
Please note that souvenir availability is subject to supply and will be distributed on race day at the designated souvenir booth.
An event brochure, including a map and schedule, will be available closer to race day.
We recommend checking local transit websites for travel updates and advisories.

Code of Conduct: All participants are expected to adhere to our event’s code of conduct.
Rules of Competition: Please familiarize yourself with the rules to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for everyone.
